Hi, my name is Ann and I am the creative juice behind Twin Mommy Creations. I started this venture for my boys, Dylan and Ethan, as a way to save money to make sure that they can go to college when the time comes. I have a small fiber studio located in central Florida, where I create Hand Dyed OOAK yarns and fibers. My boys are usually with me, so they are hands on with picking the colors and helping mommy spin, lol 🙂

Silly, playful, and mischievous…Welcome to Shenanigans Yarn!
Shenanigans Yarn, Inc. is located in Central Florida.
A fiber created by friends? Yes! Susan and Kimberly got together in 2009 and started spinning and dyeing yarn and fiber. Since they were producing more yarn and fiber than they could ever knit or spin in their lifetime, they decided to sell their goods.

A quality product starts with quality equipment and materials. Quality of life is enhanced by quality experiences. Yarn Travel is a collaborative effort designed to enhance the lives of fiber enthusiasts everywhere. Yarn Travel was co-founded by Jonna Hudson and Helen McLaughlin. Amidst full careers in corporate America and the healthcare industry, both turned to fiber arts as a way to enrich their lives.
A new approach on an old concept: the quilting bee, the sewing circle, and even the newer ‘stitch and bitch’ combine sharing a love for the fiber arts with the sharing of self. As the colorful fibers intertwined to create beauty and strength, the fibers of lives intertwined to create friendship and family bonds that grow stronger and more beautiful with each passing year.
Their goal is to create an environment for life fibers to combine with artistic fibers. By sharing travel and experiences, learnings and teachings, events and the delights of small shops, farms, towns, and businesses, we gather and connect new friends, adding color and depth to the tapestry of our lives.

yBsquare started in 2009 very small, and fizzled out for a bit due to life. Then in 2012, yBsquare started making project bags and has been working on unique fiber notions and accessories ever since. After all, why craft plainly, add some personality!
This is not a one-woman show. Amanda does make most all of the ‘things’ she has helped in other ways. Friends to bounce ideas off of. Husband to help with all things tech. Friends to test items. The support of many helps keep yBsquare going, not only customers but also friends and family encouragement. We do work with a couple of outside companies to help bring you awesome fiber tools and accessories. We are now offering knitting, crochet, and a few other beginner fiber arts lessons to those in the Tampa, FL area. Individual and group classes available.

Hi! I’m Ginger. I have been a passionate fiber artist for more than 40 years, beginning with spinning and raising sheep, angora goats, and angora rabbits on her family farm. A lifelong knitter, crocheter, spinner, and weaver, I have spent decades creating handspun yarns and designing original patterns that showcase their beauty. Today, I focus on spinning and sharing luxurious fibers that inspire creativity and joy. Drawing on over 30 years of experience working with handspun yarn, I carefully select and blend fibers to provide fellow makers with an exceptional spinning, knitting, and weaving experience.

Located in Orlando, FL, and specializing in self-striping yarns, we’re trying new things every day!
String Theory Colorworks started out in 2009 with the fateful words “Hey, honey!  Wouldn’t it be cool if..?” Don’t ever say such things to an engineer 🙂 I started dyeing self-striping yarn that weekend with the help of my husband, MacGyver-ski (as my mother calls him).  With my husband being an electrical engineer, and me being a biology major, we decided that all of our yarns should have “science-y” names. And a lot of our colorways interconnect in ways that only make sense to my insane brain. We moved to New Mexico in July of 2012.  Our little family expanded with the birth of our daughter in October 2012. It’s been interesting working around her needs, but so far, so good! Our second child, a boy, was born in April, 2016. We moved back to Florida in October 2016 and have been happily living in Orlando ever since.
I do all the dyeing, prep, and packaging for all of our yarns while my husband works at his new full-time job – I try my best to get everything ready on time, but with just me doing everything, sometimes I get a bit behind!
