Have you started your packing list yet?

What to bring is a common question so here is a summary of my packing list:

  • The Fiber In Box (this is all the stuff I need to run the event like signs,door prize tickets, etc)
  • Passport to Fiber (if this is your first time you can get one at the door)
  • Clothes (I actually forgot my suitcase one year good thing I don’t live too far from Orlando)
  • Bake Sale items
  • A door prize exchange gift.
  • Garage Sale De-stash box
  • Auction item
  • Spinning wheel and fiber
  • Knitting project
  • Something to share for Saturday dinner – I think I am going to do a sandwich platter

We have started a fairly new tradition, but I think it will stick around.  We used to go out to dinner as a big group on Saturday night but for the last couple of years we have been doing a kind of modified potluck. You can either bring your own dinner or bring a dish to share and participate in the potluck.

And anything else I can think up.

Can’t wait to see everyone in just a couple days!  I will be onsite about 1 Friday afternoon so the vendors can get set up.  We will officially open the conference about 6.
