{"id":72,"date":"2024-09-18T22:31:20","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T22:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/floridafiberin.com\/?p=72"},"modified":"2024-09-18T22:31:20","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T22:31:20","slug":"2-more-sleeps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/floridafiberin.com\/index.php\/2024\/09\/18\/2-more-sleeps\/","title":{"rendered":"2 more sleeps"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Have you started your packing list yet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What to bring is a common question so here is a summary of my packing list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Fiber In Box (this is all the stuff I need to run the event like signs,door prize tickets, etc)<\/li><li>Passport to Fiber (if this is your first time you can get one at the door)<\/li><li>Clothes (I actually forgot my suitcase one year good thing I don&#8217;t live too far from Orlando)<\/li><li>Bake Sale items<\/li><li>A door prize exchange gift.<\/li><li>Garage Sale De-stash box<\/li><li>Auction item<\/li><li>Spinning wheel and fiber<\/li><li>Knitting project<\/li><li>Something to share for Saturday dinner &#8211; I think I am going to do a sandwich platter<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have started a fairly new tradition, but I think it will stick around.&nbsp; We used to go out to dinner as a big group on Saturday night but for the last couple of years we have been doing a kind of modified potluck. You can either bring your own dinner or bring a dish to share and participate in the potluck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some shenanigans to prepare for all Florida Fiber In style of course:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highland games<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worst hotel experiences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And anything else I can think up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can&#8217;t wait to see everyone in just a couple days!&nbsp; I will be onsite about 1 Friday afternoon so the vendors can get set up.&nbsp; We will officially open the conference about 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brenda<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you started your packing list yet?
