Who remembers that inaugural hotel?&nbsp; \ud83c\udfe8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf2a\ufe0f&nbsp;<strong>Hotel Horror Stories Wanted!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re turning our hotel woes into a friendly competition. Share your worst Florida Fiber In hotel story, and let\u2019s see who takes the crown! \ud83c\udfc6Email me your stories and we will vote for the worst in person.&nbsp; I will take stories up to Sept 18th.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfe8&nbsp;<strong>New Hotel Alert!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to a date mix-up at our usual spot, we\u2019ve been on a last-minute hotel hunt. Fear not\u2014the new hotel details are now on our website (<a href=\"https:\/\/floridafiberin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Florida Fiber in &#8211; Florida Fiber In<\/a>), complete with a booking link. \ud83c\udf10 While I couldn\u2019t negotiate room rates down (hotels, am I right?), I did secure conference rooms under 2k. Got gently used fibers or equipment gathering dust? Let\u2019s create a massive spinning circle! Maybe we\u2019ll even snag some press coverage. \ud83d\udcf0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udff4\udb40\udc67\udb40\udc62\udb40\udc73\udb40\udc63\udb40\udc74\udb40\udc7f&nbsp;<strong>Theme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We are going to Scotland this year for our theme so if I were you, I would remember that your organizer absolutely loves Outlander &#8211; in particular the books, so you might want to start reading. They are very big books and there are 9 of them so far\ud83d\ude04I recommend audio books because then you can spin (or knit or crochet or weave or whatever) while listening and the reader is fabulous for this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Returning Vendors:<\/strong>&nbsp;Confirm by June 30<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Potential New Vendors:<\/strong>&nbsp;Send me your info (admin@floridafiberin.com) for a chance at one of our coveted spots.
